Introduction

Kashable recognizes that your customer information is personal and certain information is confidential. We have taken specific steps to protect the privacy of your information and your account, because we know you expect your financial information to be secure. This privacy policy is designed to inform you of the types of information we collect from our customers and visitors to our website, how we use that information, and the circumstances under which we will share it with third parties.

The website is not intended for nor directed to individuals that are deemed to be children and do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Kashable respects your privacy and is committed to treating your information responsibly. We understand the need to safeguard sensitive information that you provide to us. We treat our customers', former customers', and consumers' nonpublic personal information and the information we collect and use from visitors to our website as described in this Privacy Policy. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, nonpublic personal information means any personally identifiable information provided by a customer or consumer to Kashable, resulting from any transaction or any service performed for the customer or consumer, or otherwise obtained by Kashable as a financial company.

Collecting Your Information

We collect information required to verify your identity, to determine if you qualify for our loan products or services, to process your loan application including disbursement of funds to your bank account. We also collect information required to process your payments through your Employer, your personal bank account or directly from you. We collect customer or consumer information from the following sources: (1) information we receive from you during the time of registration or when you check your rate or apply for a loan. Such information includes but not limited to your name, address, social security number, assets, income, and other personnel information such as salary and payroll withholdings and deductions, employment status, bank account (2) information about your transactions with us or others that may include our lending partners, and service providers, such as your account balance and payment history (3) information from you or about you in other ways such as through contact you've made with our customer support team, or from third parties, including your employer, consumer reporting agencies, identity verification services, such as your creditworthiness and credit history, and (4) information sent to us by your computer, mobile phone or other access device. The information sent to us includes data on the pages you access, your computer IP address, device identifiers, the type of operating system you're using, your location, mobile network information, standard web log data and other information. Web log data includes the browser type you're using and traffic to and from our website. We use this information to provide our products and services to you, to improve our products and services offerings, to communicate with you about our products and services as well as other products and services that may be of interest to you, to comply with legal requirements, and to perform other legitimate business purposes.

How do we use Cookies?

Our online services use features of your Internet browser called “cookies.” Cookies are files that are placed in your computer's browser memory or placed on your hard drive. When you access our website, we and our third-party partners may place small data files on your computer or other devices. Online Tracking

We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals or similar signals from your browser. Additionally, we may permit third parties to collect aggregate usage information on our website, and they may also not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

How do we protect and store personal information?

The security of your personal information is our priority. Throughout our website and processes we protect your personal information using industry standards and best practices. We use encrypted connection between your browser and our servers to protect the information you share with us. We use session time outs that will log you out of our website after a period of inactivity to reduce the risk of other people accessing your account with us. You will be asked to create a password when registering with Kashable. You should never share your password and we will never ask you for your password. We also maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards and review and adjust them periodically as the threat landscape keeps changing.

How do we use the personal information we collect?

Our primary purpose in collecting personal information is to provide you with a secure, smooth, efficient, and customized experience. We may use your personal information for the following activities: compare information for accuracy and verify it with third parties; provide customer support, process transactions and send notices to validate your email, your mobile phone and other electronic communication about your transactions; resolve disputes, collect fees, and troubleshoot problems; prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities, and enforce our Terms and Conditions; customize, measure, and improve the content, layout, and operation of our website and programs; deliver targeted marketing materials directly to you; deliver service update notices, and promotional and educational materials; and contact you at any email or telephone number by placing a voice call or through text (SMS) or email messaging. When we use the term "personal information" it means information that can be associated with a specific person and can be used to identify that person. We do not consider personal information to include information that has been made anonymous so that it does not identify a specific user.

Information Sharing with Third Party Service Providers and Joint Marketers

Kashable may disclose the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have marketing arrangements. The third-party service providers who receive this information, such as loan stress testers and banks that originate or service loans, are required to use the information we share with them only to provide services to you, or as otherwise permitted by law.

We also utilize third party service providers to conduct analytics on our website, such as Google Analytics. We also share information about your use of our website with our trusted social media, advertising, and analytics partners.

If you consent to have Kashable request your financial information directly from your financial institution, we may work with a third party, such as Plaid, to access and collect such information on Kashable's behalf. By providing your financial information to the third party, you acknowledge and agree that such information accessed, collected, or transmitted by the third party for this purpose will be governed by the privacy policy of the third party.

We share some of your personal information with your employer or company that your employer uses to process payroll in order to process your loans. We also share some of your personal information with our banking partners to process your loans and repayments. If you request a loan, you are also providing information to the potential originating bank, and additional information may be provided to that bank after your loan originates.

We may also share your personal information with our service providers under contract with us who help with our business operations such as fraud prevention, bill collection, and technology services. We may share your personal information with credit bureaus and collection agencies to report account information, as permitted by law.

Other than as described above, Kashable does not share customer information with any affiliated or nonaffiliated third parties except as permitted by law. We may share your personal information with law enforcement, government officials, or other third parties pursuant to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, investigation or requirement when we need to do so to comply with law or regulations, or when we believe, in our sole discretion, that such disclosure of personal information is necessary to prevent financial loss, or to report suspected illegal activity.
